Profile, video or shop
The generator builds the profile link from your username. For a single video, copy its link from Share, Copy link, and make a plain link code; for TikTok Shop, use the shop or product link the same way. On Premium, one dynamic code can do all three over time: repoint it to the video for launch week and back to the profile after. How to share a TikTok video covers getting one clip in front of people who are not already scrolling.
Where it works
Where the product is in someone's hands: parcel inserts, thank-you cards, merch tags, the table at a market or a pop-up. Say what's there: "Watch how it's made", "Follow for drops". A code with no promise doesn't get scanned.
- Parcel inserts and thank-you cards: 1 in (2.5 cm), "Watch how it's made".
- Merch tags and stickers: 1.2 in (3 cm) on a white patch.
- Market and pop-up signs: 2 in (5 cm), the profile.
- Menus and shop counters for food creators: the latest video.
- Event booths: 3 in (8 cm), the profile or a live.
TikTok's own QR code
TikTok shows a QR code for your profile under Share profile (it used to be called a TikCode). It is designed for TikTok's own scanner in the app, and how well a plain phone camera reads it has varied from version to version, so it is a gamble on a printed card. It also can't carry a caption, come out as SVG, point at a video, or be counted. For anything printed, use a standard code of your profile link, which is what the generator here builds.
Why make it dynamic
Creators and small shops print one code and then run a dozen campaigns on it: the profile most of the year, a specific video during a launch, the TikTok Shop link when a product drops. A dynamic code moves with the campaign while the parcel inserts stay printed, and the scan count shows which physical touchpoint drives follows.
Dynamic codes are part of Premium, $4 a month. Static vs dynamic, explained.

On Premium, send the code to a video or the shop for a week and back to the profile.
Questions people ask
- How do I get a QR code for my TikTok?
- Enter your username here and download the code. Scanning opens your profile in the TikTok app or browser.
- Is it different from the QR code in the TikTok app?
- Yes. TikTok's profile code is a fixed image made for TikTok's own scanner, and whether a plain camera reads it has changed across app versions. A standard QR code of your profile link works with every phone camera, prints as SVG, and can be repointed to a video.
- Can the code open one video?
- Copy the video's link from Share, Copy link, and make a plain link code from it, or repoint a dynamic profile code to it during a launch.
- Does the code open the TikTok app or the browser?
- The app, if TikTok is installed; tiktok.com links hand off to it and the profile opens with the Follow button. Without the app the profile opens in the browser, where TikTok may nudge the visitor to install it.
- What if I change my username?
- A static code breaks; a dynamic code can be edited to the new profile. Anything printed keeps working.
- Is a TikTok QR code free to make?
- Yes, and a free account keeps the download unmarked. Premium ($4 a month) lets you repoint the code to a video or the shop for launch week, and counts scans per insert, tag and sign.

Free to make and print. Premium ($4/mo) keeps it editable and counts every scan.
